[Getting Started](https://support.massolit.io/school-subscriptions-teaching-and-learning-tools?hsLang=en#getting-started) # Video Player Tools/Features   There are a few features worth signposting on the video player screen.   Users can enable [subtitles](https://support.massolit.io/do-videos-have-subtitles?hsLang=en) on all lectures across the site.    Certain lectures across the site have quizzes and in some cases worksheets available that can be assigned to students via the task function.    The cog icon on the right-hand side of the video player can be used to increase and decrease the quality of playback.  The same cog icon can be used to increase and decrease the speed of playback.    You can use buttons below the player and to the left to add a course or a lecture to either a [custom playlist](https://support.massolit.io/creating-and-managing-playlists?hsLang=en) or to your [favourite's](https://support.massolit.io/favourites?hsLang=en) playlist.    Users can take [notes](https://support.massolit.io/taking-notes?hsLang=en) whilst watching lectures, all notes are backed up in a [repository](https://support.massolit.io/reviewing-notes?hsLang=en) and can be accessed for reference at a later date.   [Transcripts](https://support.massolit.io/transcripts?hsLang=en) are available for each lecture on the site.
