# Chapter markers

Some of our courses have chapter markers. These are visible on the progress bar of the course and by selecting the menu button ![](https://support.massolit.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-4.png?width=45&height=31&name=image-png-4.png) .

![](https://support.massolit.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-2.png?width=688&height=40&name=image-png-2.png)

Hovering your mouse over the dot will show which source the marker refers to.

The course content consists of analysis of the extracts contained within the [source booklet](https://support.massolit.io/source-booklets?hsLang=en).

The chapter markers indicate when either the whole source is read, or a specific part of the source is being analysed by the academic.
